Hello all,
I have the stylesheet set up for "page-break-before" and "page-break-after" both set to "avoid"
However, this seems to be not working in my PDF output. Does anyone have a workaround for this issue? Thanks!

Re: Webhelp output not scrolling
For anyone who would like to know how I resolved this issue:
I found out it was in the stylesheet.

Re: Webhelp output not scrolling
I have it set on "Use Browser Default Size." Your suggestion got me thinking though. I changed it so it was 800 x 600 and did a new build. The new build came out at the right size, but with no school bars (horizontal or vertical)
Seems there must be some other setting somewhere?
Thanks,
Andrea

Webhelp output not scrolling
Hello all,
I produced a webhelp output, and both the preview and final output are static and not scrolling. It is possible something in my stylesheet is messing with this, but I have yet to find the cause. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Andrea

Preview function not scrolling
Hello,
Does anyone else have the problem where you preview the file in the primary topic and it is not scroll-able? I also have this problem when I build and view the target.
Thanks,
Andrea

Did you post that question here because it is related to the iPad or otherwise a mobile output? I am not sure how you are trying to create your photography portfolio.

Are you talking about the gray background that is the default color on the outside of the capture?

Flare mobile for ipad Portfolio
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone out there has tried to create their writing portfolio in Flare and used the mobile output to showcase on either the ipad or iphone.
I am really interested in creating my portfolio for my ipad, but am wondering the best way to do it.
Thanks,
Andrea

Re: How did you create your glossary?
Nita,
Thank you for your response to my post. It seems the glossary proxy is not very practical for most of the glossaries needed in this company. I am probably going to work on making each term it's own .htm file. I was just hoping the proxy had more flexibility than it does.
Thanks!

Re: Choose between linking PDF files or Mark of the Web? Really?
I tried that last week, but the html when it is embedded had the text off of the images and looked like a little kid slapped it together the way it matched up. I did not like the output at all.

How did you create your glossary?
Hello,
I am looking for different ideas on how to make the glossary. How did you create your glossary? Did you use the proxy or a workaround?
Thanks!

HTML Help.
The boss wants an alphabet list across the top and then as each term is clicked, he wants a stationary popup. It does not seem done easy or with the proxy.

I was afraid it would not work for HTML. The downside is that the computers will not have adobe reader access. Thank you.

Re: Glossary Help
I am trying to figure a way that still allows me to use the Glossary Proxy, as this is a full glossary that is imported from each of the separate chapters. I am hoping that when a chapter glossary term is added, the full glossary would update to reflect those changes.

Can anyone tell me if this also works with HTML? I tried to embed the PDF into my project, but upon build, I get a red x like it cannot find the file. Thanks.

Since I do not know javascript, I have been trying to research how to insert a bookmark by every glossary heading. I have already put in a feature request for a alphabet glossary.

I agree that source control for checking in and out files is the best method, then there is less of a chance of overlapping changes.
