A shadow wouldn't be something that would be on by accident. I don't think there is a default setting for something like that.
I would think it was more of a DPI issue, that you may have the image set to print at a different DPI than when seen on screen.

So this means that if you only have Adobe Reader, then we're stuck with the bookmarks at the bottom of the PDF?LTinker68 wrote:Yes, you need Adobe Acrobat to be able to set all those options.

Re: Printed toc formatting???
In my TOC, I have set all my main topics as H1, and all subheadings as H2, and that is how the TOC looks.
Is this what you are trying to do?

Re: images do not justify correctly
I have image and captions surrounded in div tags, then around a second div tag (per past forums recommendations) and the div tag is set to either .centerAlign, .leftAlign, or .rightAlign. I think building to PDF fixed this issue.

Re: Title page header and footer
I had been building Word, but for my sake, it doesn't matter if it is word or pdf. I did a build to pdf, and it fixed my cover page header/footer issue, as well as the picture justifying. The issue that I do still have is that my caption autonumbers are not continuing, but starting over.

Re: Title page header and footer
I am having the same issue with the cover page taking on a header and footer. I have a page layout for "Title" and have set that in the TOC, but it still comes up. When I preview in print layout and with print css, it shows no header and footer. It's not until I build that they show up.

Re: No images in Word output
I finally figured out that the CSS display was set to hidden for print media. Once I changed this to block, all the divs showed up with the pictures and captions.

At first I was able to access, add, and apply styles to/from the default style sheet. However... something happened along the way... when i hit F12 now, i get a window with only 3 style choices... not the full range from the default list i WAS getting.

Re: No images in Word output
I do not use the float feature. I do have generic tags that are either .leftAlign or .rightAlign.
So far none of the images are coming over at all and I'm just figuring that is because they are in divs.

Re: Avoiding the "Start Page"
I know there is a way to not have the start page come up, but I do not remember where that setting is. I'd have to get back to you on that one when I find it. I think that if you close out of it and then open the same project again, it goes away. You can get it back by View>Start Page

Re: embedding multiple topics in a collection topic
What about importing the topics you want to reuse into the new project? They all link together, so you only have to update the original and the rest will update. Plus then you can insert the topics into the TOC.
Just a thought.

Re: Command Line Build batch file
I learned about using a .bat file for building in the Flare training class. I have 26 project files that each has 2 targets (more to come) and when I leave for the night I run the .bat file. It builds all targets. Then I copy the word docs into one folder and copy the htmlhelp files to encrypt in ...

Re: No images in Word output
Is there a workaround that would allow me to keep the divs? I am using div tags to surround the screenshot and caption, then another div around that to center everything. (suggestions from past forum topics) so I do not want to looks that.
Any ideas?

Do you mean like, when you have a master stylesheet set, then rename it, every topic becomes a broken link? I ended up just renaming it back to the way I had it because it wasn't worth the trouble to fix.

On the issue of images and word documents....I built the Word target and when it opens, there are no images present. There is a resources folder that holds all the images that showed up with the build in the same folder.
