Re: pictures with captions?
I have been messing with captions myself. The way I found that works, is to make a p.caption class. Then I put a div tag around the image and caption. This keeps them both together when left or right centering. If you search in the forums here for captions, you may get past conversations regarding ...

I only mentioned the correct spelling as "Propeller" because of how Madcap spells it on our levels.

When I screw up in the code, it usually tells me lines and characters. Not all the time, but sometimes. It will say text on line x does not match text on line y

That's ok...someday I play to be more than just at level Propeller Head. It does say alot about the product though, to have people with such a high level of posts. It must mean we all like to product enough to stick around. (or have nothing better to do that keep updating the forums)

Re: Book title in cross reference
Have you tried inserting bookmarks at the site where you want the cross reference to point to? Then you can use the cross reference feature to point to that bookmarked area.

Re: Multiple skins and targets for one project
I am pretty sure you would have to copy the target and then create a new skin for each one. You can then label the targets and skins with the customer name to keep them separate.

I went into the skin editor and checked help buttons. The only other thing checked is to display button captions. What other settings are you using in your HTML Help Setup?

Re: Include & exclude from output based on conditions
I'm pretty sure you have to tell flare what to include as well as what to exclude. I think if you only tell it what to include, it will still include everything unless specifically told to exclude.

Re: Propigating Style Sheet Changes across Multiple Projects
I am pretty sure that if you project link your stylesheet, then they are linked together (should show the link chain) and when it builds, it should look for the most recent version.
Have not messed with it too much, but am pretty sure.

This is for HTML Help system. The span tags are only there because I imported the document from Word originally. I plan to clean up the span tags eventually.

Re: caption text wrapping
Ok. I figured out the biggest problem I am having. I am running XP on the desktop and all the div tags are left justifying, but if I put the EXACT same file and EXACT same stylesheet onto my laptop, which runs Vista, all my pictures are center aligned correctly. I originally had everything working ...

Re: Div style question
Ok, I fixed that issue, but it had nothing to do with the main issue as it still does not work. Everything is still left justified.

Re: Removing a DIV
The easiest way to do it would be to right click on the topic and open with internal text editor. Then you can just highlight and delete the <div> and </div> tags.
Hope that helps,
Andrea

Here is an example of what I originally had that was working, but now it is not. I tried putting a div around the figure caption within the larger div, but that did not work either.

I tried to set a parent div and a child div, and it is not working. I can center the image, but without defining a width anywhere All I get a huge picture with a caption that centers, but does not limit itself to the width of the image.

Re: Div style question
sorry about that last post, Lisa, I missed your last post until after I posted. I tried what you said about setting a container div to set as center and that did override whatever was causing it to left justify. Now it looks the way I want it to.
Thank you,
Andrea

Re: Div style question
Ok, so this puts me back at my original problem. If I assign a width to the div tag that holds the img and p.caption, then it right justifies the entire div tag (but the caption does stay underneath the img correctly). If I do not specify a width in the div tag, the picture and caption center, but ...
