Hi Yaacov,
It's set in the stylesheet for the p.FirstPageOfChapter style. Remember to change your medium to print to see the color code (#e1e1e1):

Re: mc-heading-level fighting with Heading.Level1 variable
Thanks for the suggestion, Nita. The thought had crossed my mind to just use a dedicated page layout, and if I were starting from scratch again, that's probably what I'd do. But I don't want to spend the time to retrofit my 25+ projects with the new page -- several of them are so short that the ToCs ...

mc-heading-level fighting with Heading.Level1 variable
I had so much fun stumping the peanut gallery on Monday, I thought I'd try it again today, though I might just be suffering from Friday/Christmas brain. This may be an easy one.

As it stands, the only people who (get logins/are registered) are paying customers. Not sure on the sales process.
That's pretty similar to where we were a couple years ago. One of the biggest hurdles we faced was that we had been charging for our more 'advanced' content, and were praised ...

Re: xref text
Hi,
When you insert a cross-reference, the dialog that appears has two buttons in the Cross-reference Properties section: New and Edit. You can also add/edit cross-reference formats in the CSS file. The base style is listed as MadCap|xref.
Thanks,
Kristen

Re: Searching separate projects
One possibility would be to use project merging. You'd wind up with two child projects and a master project that combines them. There are limitations to this (including the fact that the new Top Nav HTML output doesn;t support merging projects), but it would allow you to manage your content in two ...

mc-autonumber-position: number overlaps heading text
(Apologies if this is a repeat post; I didn't find anything through search.)

Re: Very large product suites with TopNav HTML5
I have a similar project in development and the plan is to have one generic Flare project linked to a separate Flare project for each product. The idea is for the Help icon in each product to be linked to its own Help.

This confused me at first, too:
Master Pages control the look/layout of online output types (though they can also be used with Word and FrameMaker output types).

Re: All Flare WebHelp content appears underlined in Chrome
Has anyone seen this and/or resolved it? I could not find this issue resolved on the MadCap Software forum, although they do list many similar Chrome bugs.
I'm willing to bet it is the exact same problem as described in these threads:

Sorry to be unclear. I was actually referring to the hover defintion CSS rather than the namespace workaround.

Re: TOC Icon Display Issue
P.S. This issue occurs regardless of whether the @namespace line is added to the CSS. This leads me to believe that it is unrelated to that specific issue.
The @namespace workaround isn't working for eeryone, but MattyQ has another solution -- have you tried his suggestion in this post ?
Thanks ...

Re: Images not working correctly on one topic
Someone reported a similar problem in this thread, and Nita made a suggestion ("setting the table's width to 100% correct the problem") that might help. The OP didn't reply, so it's not clear if they reported the issue to MadCap or resolved it, though.
Thanks,

Re: Mouse over changes colour of text
This is a complete shot in the dark, but I wonder if it may be related to a Chrome bug discussed in another thread . I'm not sure where it might be picking up the color (which is bed28a), but the text does seem to also be bold in Chrome. Perhaps adding the @namespace rule to your CSS as described in ...

I suspect we need more information to help you figure out the problem, but I'll try to suggest some things:

Re: Wish list for Top Nav beyond Flare 11
Seconded! We use runtime-project-merging to create our online help, so we can't use Top Nav for that target. It's a pity, because I think we could make our help more closely match our web UI by using Top Nav.Nita Beck wrote: 2) Support for runtime-merged projects.

Re: Adding page navigation - seeking advice
I was imagining a case where those headings would be naturally in a ToC anyway, and so you could reference the ToC to display the elements on that page. But if you would have to manaully set up one or more ToCs just for this purpose and maintain them separately, it's not much of an improvement over ...

I think you're describing Flare's min-TOC feature, which shows a portion of the ToC wherever the mini-toc proxy is inserted.

Re: Snippet within TD makes table wider than page
Add two images within a single table cell and madcap flare freaks out (GUI shows a big red X).
Just my $0.02 -- I'm not having this problem in 11.1.0. I can drag an image from the Contents pane into my topic and drop it into a table cell that already have an image, and Flare is fine.
