Back to last page icon in HTML5

Dear Madcaps,

Can I introduce an icon in the menu bar for the last viewed page - in addition to the previous page in the TOC sequence?

Re: Do Image Maps work?

Ok, so now fixed my problem by laboriously resizing outside of Flare.

The question is will this be 'fixed' in Falre, i.e. is there an intention to allow resizing images to work with image maps in HTML5?

Do Image Maps work?

Dear mapcaps,

i am trying to implement image maps. i know there used to be some problems but I thought that was ages ago. I have found two problems:

Collapsing Table columns

Hi Madcaps,

Has anyone ever done this? What I mean is image a table and what you can do is hide a column but show its there and expand if you want to see it. a horizontal dropdown if you like. This would be really handy when you have a lot of data and could allow the user to see what is necessary ...

Re: Getting a table in a div

Thank you, that's a relief I was sure I did it in the previous release.

I agree I think it's a bug, is raising it here enough or should I alert Madcap some other way?

Thanks..................... liz

Dear madcaps,

And when clicked it push down the content as expected but the heading jumps to the left margin and doesn't have a "-" which i expected it would to allow it to be collapsed. I realise the clicking the ...

Re: Naming conventions of topics, etc.

Hi Kat,

I agree with Ramon but would be even stronger by saying that a naming convention is essential! What you need to think about is "how are you going to use the name" and therefore what information is important in the name. Apart from the obvious use of uniquely identifying the topic some uses ...

Dear Madcaps,

I got very excited about this as it may be a way to get Visio Diagrams into Flare. But maybe not....

I have generated a set of vision htm outputs fro Visio2013, works well, has hotspots that link and a menu in a left hand frame. So I tried to import it. The import ran, no errors ...

9.1.1 had done something to dropdown headers

Hi mapcaps,

I am using dropdown text. When in the editor it looks fine and conforms to the css rules. However in preview and in the generated output the dropdown header doesn't seem to follow the rules. In fact it's using the rules for a link. Why is this and can I override it?

Re: Drop Down - images on preview

This was problem previously and I gave up at the time and haven't needed to address it till now.

I am using the default Resurces\Images\Madcap\DropdownClosed.gif file. The image is fine if I open on it's own to inspect it. However on the page it becomes huge. Lisa suggested a couple of things but ...

Dear madcaps,
I have not set the style for my dropdowns but it seems to be adopting formatting from somewhere - some of it looks like hyperlink visited and not. Where are or what are the rules here?
