Re: TABLES HAVE NOW GONE HAYWIRE
try changing one table to use a different table style (I see from your screen shot that you have 4 to choose from - switch to any of the others). If the table width is correct after you do that, then the problem is in your table style.

Re: Spacing a table in a topic
What you need to do is open the topic in a text editor and remove any margin code that you find in the table tag. Now, if this sounds tedious and unnecessary, I'd say you're right. There is no reason that I can think of why they should do it this way, but they do

Re: Spacing a table in a topic
I would go to the Table tag in the main stylesheet (not one of the table stylesheets) and adjust the Margin-left attribute.
You can also create classes of the Table tag if you need to use different left margin numbers for different tables. Then you just apply the appropriate class to each table ...

Re: spacing, bullets, and such
The reason you shouldn't use inline styles is that if you decide later to make your note-type paragraphs have blue text instead of red, you'd have to go through every single topic that has that inline style and change them all to say color:blue, whereas with the class declaration, all you have to ...

ok... this "make paragraph item" looked like it was going to work nicely... but,it kept the font format of the bullet (bold).. and even tho I applied the non-bold paragraph class that i created for the indented text, it won't remove the bold.. unless i do it locally... also, the spacing issue is not ...

Another thing that SnagIt does NICELY that Capture does not... capture open menus... I'm finding that really annoying... that i can't just simply go in and open a menu and "snap" a cap of it...
yes.. you can get a menu (i believe thru the "delay" setting) and you can get a cursor to show up.. but ...
