OK Lisa.. you fixed me again...
but my question now is.. how did that stuff get suddenly changed.. what did i do when chaing the one paragraph to an indent that cause it to get changed in the "body" tag?
i KNOW it's a user issue.. but i can't figure how i keep affecting things other than the tag ...

changes to one style are changing others
so it seems that when i go in and create a class... get it set just how i want it, somehow, those attributes are forcing other items/elements on that page/topic to take on certain attributes I just set.
for example:
I have a:
plain paragraph class - no indent (9pt Verdana)
a h1 class - no indent ...

WHEW!!!!!! I FIXED IT... holy moly.. that was scary.. but it's all back to its normal color now... no more bright blue! I think i need a drink! lol

Do you mean it applies a number, or an actual bullet? If you've chosen a numbered list it should show numbers. You can check which list type you have by opening the list pulldown and seeing which type is highlighted.

OK.. i sucessfully changed the MadCap logo to one of ours (thanks to those of you who responded!)... it worked like a charm.. but now i want to change it to a different logo.. but it's not letting me.. i've gone in and selected the new logo, just as I did on Friday, but it's not changing ...

From Project Manager > Skins open the skin you are using for your WebHelp project.
In the right pane, click the Styles tab.
Expand ToolbarItem > Logo .

so are you saying it's an issue because you need to include the cursor in your capture.. I'm assuming so.. to me the added step of having to add a cursor is an extra step i don't necessarily need or want to have to take time to do... I'd rather use something like SnagIt...

the object is to allow the user to click on the SEARCH button.. and take him/her to the Search "pane" in the system... to allow them to do a global search... without having to go to the TOC pane, then click on the SEARCH pane... I'm not sure if Lisa's solution is the same as what i'm seeking to do ...
