Conditional Text not showing up
I'm sure I must be missing a simple setting someplace... I have a lot of conditionalized text in my project as I have 2 targets - to cover 2 versions of our product... I've had no issue having the correct conditional text showing up in the right target... until now... so I have a reference to the ...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
Thanks, Dave.... I sort of figured that was why that link was showing up.... i originally tried setting up the mc by putting the info directly in.. but that didn't work the way i needed it to... and also, doing it that way means i'd have to remember to make any updates in two places... and my memory ...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
You guys are freaking BRIL! It worked! WHEW!
So... I created the micro content directly from the topic so that it's single-sourced.... then as you guys suggested, i went into the skin, found the micro content settings and set it to "none" for the link itself (since there's already a link to that ...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
So... I've almost got it exactly the way I want it. BUT....
So... i wanted to try to single source each link so i don't have to update the links in 2 places. So, I created the micro content from the link and its description from within the topic where it already exists. The link that comes up looks ...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
Thanks, Dave! I'm going to try this as soon as I get a chance... I was hoping this was going to be the answer rather than having to redirect... and THANK you for the tip about pasting in the link rather than "adding" the link! As soon as I find out if I'm doing this correctly, I will come back and ...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
Sorry, Dave... i think I wasn't clear about what the functionality needs to be...

Re: Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
Thanks, Dave... not sure this is an option, but I will check it out...
i was wondering if setting each link up in a snippet with some description might help... there's that new thing now "micro content" i think it was called... might using that work rather than the IIS set up?

Need to make Links to PDFs searchable
So, i have SEVERAL links to PDFs in my project.
The PDFs are in a folder in the Resources folder.
Access to the PDFs is from a list of links in a single topic.. so you go to that topic and look for the PDF... however, you have to go that page and manually search.

Re: GAT script = invalid code error
So just as a follow-up... the initial change (removing "src") did not cause an error.. but the script also didn't work... so he had me try the following:
<<script async="" src="https://
that may have been when you both meant for me to do.. and i didn't recognize the instruction.. but all is well ...

GAT script = invalid code error
I know there are lots of posts about the inclusion of GAT in help systems.. I've read a number... but haven't found one mentioning this exact problem that applies to this specific code.

html5 Preset Default Window Size
I saw some other posts regarding being able to set the Default Window Size... but nothing since 2008... and one person stated that they put it in as a Feature request... so i'm wondering if this is now an option... it seems like the window is gigantic when i open it from our platform... Is it now ...

Re: Formatted Links are not consistent
Actually, it was the topics themselves that had been conditionalized without me realizing it. However, i would think that this rule applies to any element... folders, images, topics, snippets, etc... i

Is there a way to limit the background of a heading?
I am using a very light background behind a header/heading style. However, the background goes all the way across the window. Is there a way to limit the background to only be as long as the line of text?

Re: Togglers look redacted
So... I just used the inspection tool to find differences between a toggler that is fine and a toggler that has the orange junk all over it... and there does seem to be a couple of anomalies in the one that's screwed up (see attached - anomalies outlined in red)... but i have NO idea how this ...

Re: Togglers look redacted
So, for now, I deleted the brand new toggler class that I created and used that was causing this orange mess... and recreated it... and it was fine.

Re: Togglers look redacted
ok... it HAS to be something in the toggler class... that's when the problem started... and i just inserted some more togglers with that class and they have that orange redaction look... i am going to look at the toggler class and see if i can find out what went wrong.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Togglers look redacted
Hi David... I had a very short "aha" moment on this as i did find an image noted in code using the inspection tool... HOWEVER... i then realized this same image is attached to every toggler (and there are tons of them) - including those that look fine.
