Flare was not designed to import RH 2002, But you could try importing the HHP file instead, It may work for you. IF you are still having problems contact Sales at Sales@madcapsoftware.com and they can get you in touch with Tech support

You can delete the analyzer folder, it will be recreated the next time Flare or Analyzer start.

Have your Source control Client treat the flare files as Binary and not text, so it doesn't modify the files

ITs not something I have seen, Did the user have full admin rights when the Viewer was installed?? What happens if you open the viewer with out calling from your application?

using the output in a new project you will not have a TOC, nor will any of your snippets, Index Entries, Concept links, will be gone, you will have topics, but little else, also be sure to remove the skinsuport folder. It would be best to find a backup version

u may want to re-register the itcc.dll on your system

If you update your topics Flare will scan the updates, but you should still be able to work in the project.

IF you use a standard CSH call, then it will open with the TOC pane,

If you were sent the patch early, you may want to competely uninstall Flare and then reinstall Flare, it could be that the patch you recieved was the a beta copy and not the offial released verson

In Flare's help file checkout connecting Webhelp to an application it shows how to do a csh call that opens with a TOC pane

The more people that report that as a bug or issue, the better the chance it will get addrssed.. It comes down to resources, if 50 users request a feature, and only 2 request a different feature, which one do you think gets fixed first?

ARe these local or inline formating, it could be that the imported is adding these to you stylesheet.

You don't need the props file if you are never going to edit the image with Capture, Or do any linking of Variables, then you don't need the file. If you remove the Props file and then open the image again, you won't be able to remove any call outs or any other Capture features.
