Problems with Generating Builds and Search in Flare v9.1.1
I delayed upgrading from Flare 8 to v9 for as long as I could. As soon as I upgraded I was no longer able to generate a WebHelp or MyHTML help (.chm) output as I had done previously (unless I did them as batch jobs and the output was not always correct). I also noticed that when the Search tab is ...

I haven't tried to generate a build using Flare 7 since upgrading to Flare 8. Do you think the upgrade has something to do with this issue?

" I'm not sure why you are modifying an image and then taking a screenshot of the changes ." I'm not, as I said in my original post, it's screen shots of programs.

Caching of images in Capture / Flare
I have been using Flare and Capture for a few years and always seemed to have a problem when updating images in my project. For example, if I took a screen shot of a program (in another image editor program) and added callouts to that image (using Capture) then retook the screen shot, the image ...

Thanks for the advice. I did create the Bookmark to the destination target but when linking to the target I selected the the Bookmark and XRef Class for the page (MadCap:xref.xref_Page ) in the Insert Cross Reference screen. I will give it another go and try to use the XRef Class for the MadCap ...

Adding a name tags in Flare v8
Hi,
I would like to add an "a name" tag ie a link from one page to a specific area on another page but cannot seem to see anywhere within the help that does this other then using Bookmarks (which do not work the way I want it too). Ideally I would like to link to an area in a table that is within ...

Re: "CSS Parser" Error Messages
I have a Maintenance Plan with MadCap so they had to come back to me with a solution (after much e-mail ping pong).
The problem was that I upgraded from an older version of Flare to the latest version (at the time). The latest version had more stricter CSS compliance validation which threw errors ...

I will have a look into the server options and the links provided.
I am unable to offer both WebHelp options to my customers re CSH unfortunately so it would be for local file access only.
Thanks Ramon for the info

Linking to PDFs from TOC
My aim is to be able to add a link in my WebHelp TOC to a PDF file that is contained within the same project. When the link is clicked from in the TOC the PDF opens within the frame (as topics would) rather than in a separate window.

No I didn't search the entire project just the stylesheet that I was using and some of the default MadCap stylesheets just in case there was some styles in there. I will try searching the entire project & see if anything comes back in the results.

I've tried doing a search on the CSS for that tag in Flare and other Text Editors but unfortunately nothing has come back in the search.
