Ken, thank you so much for the regular expression: Name" />[^ <),&.\r\\]

These are the steps I created for myself and I've highlighted the main issues. Could someone please look at these steps and ...

It's not a Word import. I inherited this project so I don't know exactly why there are so many styles.SteveS wrote:Looking at the styles and naming convention I've got to ask if this is a word import.

The a tags are all 8 pt already (see attached screenshot).SteveS wrote:Have you tried styling the anchor (<a>) tag?
It looks like I'll have to manually set the font size in the topics.
Thanks.

Font size in p style changes when adding a link (WebHelp)
The p style in our stylesheet is 8 pt font size. However, when he insert a hyperlink in a topic to another topic, the hyperlink changes to 10 pt, and we don't want the font size to change. In our stylesheet, every Link Style is font-size is 8 pt. Why is Flare changing the font size? Is there any way ...

Re: Inserting variables in a TOC entry
Including variables in a TOC in Flare works great for WebHelp, but I can't get it to work for a Word target. I have books in my TOC with different names from the topic titles. (See attached screenshot -- this is how it looks for the two different TOCs I'm using (one for Word and one for WebHelp ...

Re: Failed to run command 'Copy'
OK this is really annoying. I need to copy topics in the Content Explorer to different folers, but I still get this copy error. I'm trying to find how to clear the Windows 7 clipboard, that's the issue. Has anyone tried that?

Same copy problem here. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, Flare 7.2.0. However, when I preview a topic in the target output, I can copy the text. But I need to copy text with formatting, variables, etc. Has this issue been fixed?

Dave Lee,

Re: DITA Map import
I created a DITA Book in XMetal, which saves as a .ditamap file. When I imported it and the DITA XML files to Flare 7, Flare created two TOCs (in the Project Organizer folder): a Default TOC (named from the first topic in the imported list, and a TOC created from the DITA Book (ditamap). The TOC ...

Re: How to place Accordian Items with Horizontal Layout?
We would also like to do use tabs horizontally over the main frame for our DITA XML WebHelp like this:
Concept Task Reference
We'd still like to keep the accordion tabls for the TOC, Index, Glossary, Favorites, etc.
Is this possible?

Lisa,
Thank you for this! It was really helpful. I've been searching for this for hours.

You're right. I see that now. I am still having issues but I think it's because I had initially used local formatting. I wish there was a way to globally change that back to the default. I'll post how I fixed this in case anyone else makes the mistakes I did when setting up my project with local ...

Now I have the same problem in the localized Flare 7 projects. Is there a way to reset all of the styles back to "default"? I've searched here and the Web and can't find anything.
Thanks.

Yes, you can set the stylesheet at the target level. I just want to set it per topic.

Re: How to map a style sheet (.css) to a Microsoft Word template
Lisa,
I figured out the problem. Somehow I had some inline formatting (called local formatting in the help docs). I set all of these to the default in each topic. I made sure the settings were correct in your suggestion and built the Word target. It looks fine now. Thanks.

How to map a style sheet (.css) to a Microsoft Word template
The style sheet I created in Flare 7.2 does not persist when I build the printed output target (Microsoft Word). I set "p" (which would be a normal style in Word) at 10 pt font size. However, each time I build the target, the Word doc's "p" style is 12 pt. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ...
