Re: Control line width
I would love to do the initial sample where the right column floats to the top. However, I've been told by the MC support staff that I can't have two different column widths, so I'm faking it and using what ends up looking like what you have in your second example. That's why I end up with a line ...

Re: Vector format for old .eps files
I understand your single-source concern. However, using a vector and doing 'on-the-fly' conversion can be done because webworks does it. Converting these two formats (eps and svg) into bitmap formats is fairly straight forward there are already a bunch of algorithms around that do the conversion if ...

Re: Vector format for old .eps files
I added this as an enhancement request recently. We too need a vector/structured image format for print. I requested Flare support both EPS and SVG.

Control line width
I'm trying to design our Flare print template to look as close to our FrameMaker template. We use a two unequal columns in our FrameMaker document, which I haven't been able to replicate in Flare. According the support staff at MadCap, that currently isn't allowed in Flare 6, columns must be equal ...

Re: Visio diagrams
I haven't had time to try yet, so maybe Dave knows. Does Flare support .svg files? We use that format for all our structured/vector drawings and png for all of our screenshots.

Re: Two hopefully easy questions
I've tried every trick I know, and I've not found a way to set the bullet to be a separate colour to the list item text.
I use coloured bullets in our help and PDFs by using images.
As LTinker mentioned, they work fine in all outputs apart from Word.
Set the image with list-style-image , and ...

Re: Two hopefully easy questions
Thanks Lisa. I'm trying to use square bullets in an unordered list. I'm actually importing content from DITA, and then producing our web HTML output, so I'm trying to get the templates as close to our corporate standard as possible. We use a colored square bullet, if I can set it to orange, fine. If ...

Re: Two hopefully easy questions
I fixed the first issue by simply re-importing the table stylesheet. Now if I can only fix the bullet issue. hmmm...

Re: Problems running Flare on Mac
I'm running Flare (5 and 6) on multiple platforms (MacBook Pro with 10.5, Mac Pro Quad with 10.6), both using Fusion and XP (one Pro, one Home) -- Also a real Dell at work with XP. The Fusion versions operate correctly for me. I wonder if this is a Parallels problem. It shouldn't be, but you never ...

Two hopefully easy questions

I'm building a DITA project, or more correctly, I'm importing a DITA map. I first created a stylesheet and table stylesheet that will be used in all projects.
I started a new project that imported one of the DITAmaps. I selected my stylesheet, it imported correctly. I was surprised it ...

Re: Table Stylesheets
Dave:
You're absolutely correct. I ended up talking with support on it, and they said the table stylesheet was designed so you can tag tables manually while creating content. Since I have well over 20,000 tables in this document, that's not an option. ;)
Anyhow, let's hope that at some point in ...

Table Stylesheets
I know this has to be an easy one, but I can't seem to figure this one out. I have a ton of tables that I am going to be importing from DITA topics. I created my stylesheet for the text, which seems to be working as I had hoped. Next, I created a table stylesheet. Manually I can assign the ...
