With regards to height, 100% means it fills 100% of the tag its inside , so it depends on the size of the parent tag. For example, for a p tag in your body to use 100% of the visible height, you'd need all the parent tags to be 100% too, like html and body .

Re: Make MadCap|slideshow and Madcap|slide fill body vertically?
Hi Riley
There is a setting called Adaptive height on the General tab of the settings. If it is turned on, the slideshow height will shrink/expand to fit the content of each slide. When turned off, all slides are set to the height of the slide with the tallest content.

Re: Make MadCap|slideshow and Madcap|slide fill body vertically?
Do you need to set the height explicitly?
I'm guessing 100% would be the default value, so it might not be needed.
Thanks for the idea. But it seems to be true only for HTML . Even BODY doesn't want to grow vertically to fill the page regardless of whether or not I specify height .

Re: Make MadCap|slideshow and Madcap|slide fill body vertically?
A small update.
On another forum someone suggested replacing all the min-height: 100%; instances with height: 100%; .
So I tried that and for a moment I thought I'd found the solution: The slideshow and slide vertically filled the Flare XML Editor's window.

Anything that requires processing more than one page won't work properly in the preview.

Now that you say it, it makes sense. I guess I just expected something to happen in Preview. But going forward I'll know better.Dave Lee wrote: I'm fairly sure that it's never calculated the entries for help controls (like related topics) or proxies (like miniTOCs).

Re: HTML5 — Can't change TOC book icons?
Set the icons in Navigation Panel > TOC > Icons , which sets the default icons.
You can use Toc Entry > Icons when you want to use different icons for specific TOC items, which you set using a class.
Whilst it is actually in the help, it's poorly organised in the skin.

With alias files, you then have all these lovely headers to play with too, and can only view all, or one, in the "Alias file" editor.
