On the same day that I created this Forums thread I also submitted an Enhancement Request requesting the ability to copy-and-paste slides more easily.
In the meantime, we have a couple of ways to circumvent the issue…

I suspect that table stylesheet changes are one of the things that won't be backward compatible. Once some of my tables have been updated to Flare 9, looking at the things that have changed, I suspect that Flare 7 would have trouble with them, but I've not tried it.
