nope, cannot figure it out - again, works in output (but tedious and error-prone to keep checking, or assume that it will work). But editor is no longer wysiwyg in relation to images, so that's challenging.

in two places - on paragraph styles that are NOT set up as proper headings, and do NOT have this problem elsewhere. They are in the middle of a topic, so nothing to do with the TOC

Image display in Flare incorrect for 2 images
This is very odd...
I have a style, BigResized, that I apply to the enormous screenshots we have. Thumbnail is on so user can click to see full image.
However, for two images only the image display in Flare does not change, eg display at 600 px, when I apply this style. It's fine in the output ...

Re: margins on nested lists
I am setting margins (only, no padding) on the ol and ul containers only, but how do I keep them from multiplying? Will try smaller values next, and double-check that that is the truth.
Oddly, I've not had this issue in the past, not sure what is going on tho.

Re: list item spacing top and bottom (and margins)
I did zero everything out, somehow got it fixed after that
I'm using the formatting inspector in flare, as well as chrome - but still can't tell all that's going on.
Good tip about the divs, not sure it doesn't add complexity for this right now but good to know!

margins on nested lists
Still battling w/ old vs new stylesheets and now have huge indents/margins on nested list items & can't figure out why. Looking at the formatting in flare does not help all that much, as all left margins are set to 0.

Would appreciate some hi-level tips of how to approach this - eg, set the ol and ul margins, top and bottom?? or just bottom? or set it at the li level??

Same exact settings as all the others, which have page numbers printing correctly. Same breaks, etc in TOCs.

list indent in tables
I'm working with a prior stylesheet as well as my new one, until I can go topic-by-topic and edit all the old styles out.
I'm having a really hard time getting bulleted lists inside tables to indent - like, hardly at all - and none of the properties I change seem to fix it. I'm looking at the ...

?? If you set a condition on the toc, the include/exclude applies to the toc AND the content inclusion
I'm kinda past it but did think there was a (simple) way to do this at one point.
thanks

Re: leave topic out of html toc?
Have you tried setting the mc-heading-level for the heading you want to include in the build but not the table of contents to 0?
Um, what? I can set the mc-heading for it (h6) to 0, but that only leaves it out of the print builds. Your suggestion sounds more complicated but I think this is what ...

Yup, ‘fraid so.
However, after some back and forth and the first madcap support person telling me it does not work with vpn (which turns out not to be true, synch up folks!) I now hear they’ve had no issues.
Not sure if others are using vpn, but it’s possible ours is just too messed up to do this ...

I don't see any posts in this forum about this and still pretty shocked (and somewhat wondering if there's some mistake).
This renders the whole product useless for us, and I'm also surprised to see others are not mentioning it. Is it just because it's relatively new, in terms of a wide release ...

leave topic out of html toc?
Is there a way to do this? It's not in the print toc 'cos h6, but I thought there was a way to leave it out of the html toc as well?
It's for an intellectual property notice, so it needs to be there but not in TOC, ideally (tho I may learn otherwise, I'd like to know if this is possible)
thanks

I created a new project and copied the content over, hoping to avoid some of the clutter and issues from previous users and start fresh with my own css and all of it.
However, in the new project - with same stylesheet and page layout - the pdf TOC uses madcap's green, very light text from madcap ...
