Re: Layout help
I tried to use the Search bar proxy with the Tripane layout but apparently that does not work. The help says that it is not supported.

As you can tell from this partial screen shot, th...

Re: Layout help
Hi Dave, Yes, this layout will not necessarily have a header or at least must look like there is none as it will be fit into a specific area in a web app. If I was to move the search bar out of the header, it would appear above the content in the content pane. Is it possible to move the search bar i...

Re: Looking for best way to to single source my project
Hi Nita,
Thanks so much for the reply. Do you see any issues with multiple authors using a single project file? Or for multiple authors would it be better to structure the docs as separate projects?
Pam

Looking for best way to to single source my project
The applications I am working with are similar to the following: PP- mobile and web (similar but not exact interface), PR and CS all have "similar" user prompts that I will need to explain. PP (mobile and web) are most similar but interface differs in some wording and order of fields on th...

Variable for Custom Text on HTML5 Header
I have followed Dave Lee's customization example to customize the header text, however I need to make the header text a variable since I am making a template set for several products. Any way this can be accomplished? I do have a variable "Product Name" in the project.
Thanks.
Pam
Thanks.

Excellent! Yes I have followed some of the customizations that you made. I have a question about another one of these. I will post in a new message.

HTML 5 Style settings for Navigation Tabs
I have figured out how to change the color of the active/inactive navigation tabs, however it does not just color the top tab part.
I have set the Background color to white and the Background gradient to the blue color. Is there some way just to get the top tab colored?
Thanks
Pam

Re: Adding a bullet image to mini TOC Proxy entries
I am trying to make my mini-toc's a bulleted list but it does not seem to be working for me as described here. Here are my mini-toc style settings. Any ideas on how to make this work? Re: Glossary, TOC and Page Layouts, oh my...
I just got it figured out as you were posting. Yes the header was a body frame, that someone added before I took over the project. Looks like it was just used for placement of the decoration frame. I removed it and all is perfect! Thank you so much!

OMG! That is wonderful!
Ok, that worked beautifully except the glossary terms, are now adjusted upwards and are too high since the h1 is not displayed.

Centering a snippet
I have a table that was originally in a topic. I recently moved it into a snippet and included it in necessary topics. The problem I am having is that I cannot get the snippet to display as centered when I publish it. It does show as centered in the topic editor and when i preview it. Has anyone had...

Re: Using snippets
Ok, Ive been playing around with this and here is where I am:
On the attached image, there is item number 5 and 6. They are duplicates. Number 5 is the snippet and 6 is text. How do I get the numbered item 5 to show at the top of the snippet rather than the bottom?
