Re: Multiple skins (HTML5 Tripane): change CSS?
Thanks both. I'm not committed to using Tripane, and would be able to change to SideNav except that Tripane offers a couple of bits of functionality that we find useful; if there's a way to replicate this behaviour in SideNav then please let me know and I'll make the switch! Specifically, the two re...

Multiple skins (HTML5 Tripane): change CSS?
We would like to have some different skins on our HTML5 tripane documentation; for each skin we would also like to change the appearance of the contents. For example, a scheme suitable for dyslexic readers needs not just a different "framework" but also different fonts/line spacing/colours...

HTML5 Tripane: Move search field
There seem to be several posts asking about this but none had an answer that I was able to make sense of and most people seem to have given up and moved to using a sidenav skin (not an option for me). I want to eliminate the wasted space at the top of the page that only contains the search field (it...

Re: HTML5 ToC: Possible to include "heading dividers"?
Thanks for responding again SKamprowski. You're right, we do use Tripane, but changing to side navigation is not really an option at the moment so the issue remains...I want to add some non-clickable, easily-identifiable grouping names and can't work out how to. If the only way to do this is to move...

Re: HTML5 ToC: Possible to include "heading dividers"?
Thanks SKamprowski, I've done this but it's not quite right. What this gives is: Picture1.png (where the category heading is "Core documents" and the .NET Core Interface Guide is one of the documents within that category) What I want is to fully left-justify "Core documents", wit...

HTML5 ToC: Possible to include "heading dividers"?
I document a very large product with about 40 separate manuals. The HTML5 version of the output would really benefit from having some textual dividers in it...a bit hard to explain (shouldn't be for a technical author!) so here's an example: Currently: Book 1 Book 2 Book 3 Book 4 Book 5 etc. Desired...

Re: HTML5 output – "flicker" when including breadcrumbs
Thank you Dave, that definitely reduces the flicker; the remaining flicker is minimal and due to the breadcrumbs being added after the rest of the page, but it's infinitely preferable to the whole-page-redraw that was happening!

Hi PoojaTiwari and thank you for the suggestion.
Unfortunately I already have the breadcrumb proxy in the MasterPage (before the topic body proxy). Any other suggestions? I'm completely stumped so welcome any ideas!

Re: Flare 9 HTML5 and TocPath in page links
I've just tried this for the first time in Flare 2019 r2 (generaitng HTML5 Tripane) and commenting out the line in the MadCapAll.js file doesn't seem to be changing my URLs. I'm no coding expert (especially JS!)...can anyone let me know if it still works for them or if there's something else I need ...

HTML5 output – "flicker" when including breadcrumbs
I am generating HTML5 output with a breadcrumb trail at the top of each page. When viewing it, the page seems to draw without the breadcrumbs in, then redraw with the breadcrumb trail, causing the whole screen to flicker. Is anyone else having this issue and, more importantly, has anyone had this is...

Re: FontAwesome in PDF and HTML5 output
An update from Flare: "In Flare 2019, the Font Awesome characters are not appearing in the XML Editor nor PDF output. This is a known bug (#150985)." Guess I either have to revert to an earlier version of Flare (which I can't do as we're using microcontent) or wait for the bug to be fixed ...

PDF Toc has inconsistent spacing betwwen numbers and titles
My stylesheet includes auto-numbering for headings (level 1 to 4). All are included in the ToC. So far so good. My problem arise when I have more than 9 headings; the title that follows the number no longer left-aligns (see attached file aaa.png). How can I specify that the titles need to left align...

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have hit this issue too...I want to create a ToC for the HTML5 version of my documentation that has an unlinked entry and can't. Re: Force Reload of TOC after publishing new content
Be careful – I added the suggested metatags and am now having an issue reported whereby if you leave a page open and come back to it later it resets to the defined first page...not ideal! Removing the "refresh" metatag stops this from happening.

Re: Specifying a style that never has line breaks
ChoccieMuffin, the bits of code I'm talking about are typically less than 20 characters; I agree that for a line greater than the width of the text block it would be necessary to have a break (or scrollbars in the online version).

Specifying a style that never has line breaks
We use a lot of code in our documentation. The code includes Unicode symbols and punctuation, for example: "1 2 3+.×10 12 14" I do not want this to break accross lines as the meaning is lost. I know how to tell Flare to not break where there's a space, but I want to say that if something l...
