Using snippets

I am very new to using snippets and trying to integrate them into an existing project so I can reuse some of the text in other topics. The first snippet I created, was based on existing text that was within <li> </li> tags. The snippet did not include the tags. This worked perfectly. The second snip...

fbconf file confusion

As the .fbconf file is the configuration file for admins, etc. is this file supposed to be shared among the users who want to look at the data collected.

Feedback server data collection

To those who are currently using the feedback server in a production environment, do you have a page that discloses that information is collected and the details about what data is collected? Does anyone have a sample disclosure page I can take a look at?

Thanks.

Re: Cannot gets topic comments working

Re: Dont want odd and even headers/footers

I only have a normal page in the page layout. I am successfully using this page layout for another target in the same project successfully. I just cannot see what the difference is between the two other than obviously the content and TOC. But the toc settings seem to be the same.

Dont want odd and even headers/footers

Right now my doc is generating odd and even page headers and footers and I do not want that.

I am using a Page Layout for only one Page type
Auto0end on left page is disabled.

Any way to correct this?

Re: TOC Style Help

Thanks for the help Laura. Really good to know info but it does not really cover what I need.

I need to change the selected font color. The KB article shows how to change the hover over color.

Any idea where to find the selected color?

Where can I change the colors for this? I couldnt seem to find the right style to change. selected.png Thank...

onload statement on <body>

is it possible to add an onload statement to the <body> tag? I tried this, but it seemed to be removed when the project was built.

Character different in IE vs FF

I am using a special character on a topic from the wingdings font. In the Flare editor the character shows correctly. When built and viewed in IE, the character is correct however it is not correct in FF. So I tried a different character from the provided special character list, the bullet. This how...

Re: Can the start page be modified?

Thanks, i will submit. Reason is that my path is longer than i can see and it would be nice to be able to glance and know im choosing the correct project, instead of hovering over it to see the full path.

Re: Using IFrames

Yes i do plan on getting in touch with support.

By saying the code works, i mean that the frame is correct, but the topic has not style file applied or breadcrumb.

Re: Using IFrames

Yes the code works but it generates incorrectly as the style file and breadcrumb code are not generated, hence not showing in the final output.

Re: Using IFrames

Yes I know it gives an error when its saving, but it does get saved. I've seen another message on the forum to that type of error and it works fine once it is generated.

The code I am using works fine outside of Flare so I know the code is correct.

Re: Using IFrames

No, the iframe is just before the </body> tag.

I did just test with the iframe code, just following the <body> tag....that also strips the breadcrumbs and styles as well as any text following the iframe...
