Every PDF build I get "You need a PDF Viewer to.."

Hi all,

With Flare 2021 r2, every time I build a PDF I get this message::

"You need a PDF Viewer to view PDF files. Do you wish to continue?"

Yes, I have one. Yes, I'm set.

How do I make that go away?

Is your pdf viewer set as the default pdf viewer in Windows?

If not, right-click a pdf file in file explorer and select open with. Choose your pdf viewer and select always use this program.

You might have to restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

I'm suddenly having this issue w/ 2023 r3 - and foxit is set as my pdf app

any other tips?

I’d try reinstalling foxit, on the theory that then Flare would “recognize” it as your PDF viewer.
