TOC displays before the front page in the PDF output

Post by sura »

Hello,

I am using Flare 10.1.0. When I generate PDF output, the TOC displays before the front pages. I can't manipulate this in the master TOC.

Any clues?

Thanks in advance.

Hello sura and welcome to the Flare forums.

Likely you have selected the option in the PDF target to inject a TOC into the document if one doesn't exist.

If you don't like where Flare inserts the TOC into the output (the beginning), then you need to create a new topic and insert a "TOC Proxy" into that topic. Save that topic, and insert it into your Master TOC where you want it to appear. Now generate output, and the Contents page will be in the location you desire.

Thank you! That worked perfectly!

I've spent two days racking my brain about this. You rock!

This was super-helpful! I wondered how that was done. Thank you!
