Hi All,
I'm sure i cant be the only one experiencing this...
when generating a pdf the output looks great, but when generating a Word output, (of the same document) the TOC is in Times New Roman and the tables are all badly spaced, with huge spaces between each row.
The way this has been resolved previously is to run a script on the word output afterwards in order to tidy up Word so it looks like the pdf.
I am hoping that someone will read this and suggest a way they resolved a similar issue or confirm that its an 'issue' and a, post-build-word-macro is the only solution.
Thanks in advance and feeling hopeful
PDF Outputs are fine - Word... is not
Re: PDF Outputs are fine - Word... is not
**Update**
I have resolved the font issue. The fonts were in quote marks in the css, which meant word didn't know what 'Arial' was.
The spacing around tables and the TOC is still an issue. I can correct them so its looks 'ok' in word, but terrible in pdf. by adjusting the paragraph margin-top and margin-bottom.
So i guess another solution is to have a word.CSS and an all-other-stuff.CSS
Anyone have any better ideas or is this how everyone solved it?
