Word output doesn't support decoration frames, which means our covers don't render. The decoration frames used don't have borders, they just include images and text (specifically, a logo and copyright information in the form of a snippet)
I tried using a body frame instead for text, but I can't edit that to insert text.
I'm a novice to page layouts - what can I use instead of a decoration frame just for text?
Thanks,
Paul
Creating a cover for Word as well as PDF output
Re: Creating a cover for Word as well as PDF output
Hello Paul,
I have also been struggling with adding a cover page and I did find this which kind of helps:
https://www.madcapsoftware.com/blog/201 ... df-output/
It describes how to add your text by linking it to the .flpgl file.
My problem is that when I add an image to the cover page, the image appears on every single page in the pdf document.
I output my projects to html and pdf, whilst the html is straightforward, pdf is another matter.
Regards
Mark
