Title Page Not Creating Blank Second Page

Post by Sean »

Hi,

I have a Print Only Topic called "TitlePage.htm." "Auto-end on Left" is enabled.

On the title page, I have the document title for the PDF.

When I generate the PDF, I am not getting a left (blank) page after the title page. Why not? How do I?

Flare 12.

Cheers,

Sean

Do you have an "Empty" page defined in your page layout?

Probably not. In Project and Content Explorer, is this an flpgl? I do have CSSes that I have used successfully.

Can you tell me more about defining and empty page and then getting my TitlePage.htm to use it?

It would take longer than a forum post, but I can instead point you at the page layouts section of the Flare help, which might help:

http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... ayouts.htm should get you started.

In brief, you need to define your page layout, or layouts. If you're going to enable "auto end on left" then each page layout needs to include an "Empty" page. (The above link should explain how.)

When you put your Flare TOC together you can define which page layouts each topic uses. This is probably a good start:

See how you get on with that lot, and come back if you have any further questions. Good luck!
