PDF target doesn't show text of popup hyperlinks

Post by henkjans »

Hi
I'm using popup's in topic's.
The popup's are no part of the TOC (of course), but are displayed when mouse clicking in the target dotnet help.
When generating target pdf, mouse clicking results in a message "Could not open ...."
Is there a way to let the popup's be a part of the pdf but not listed in the pdf's TOC?
Thanks,

PDFs don't support popups, so how do you want them to display in your PDF?

Instead, insert them as Footnotes, as they are converted to popups in online output. Flare help: http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... t=footnote

Thx ChoccieMuffin
I know that pdf doesn't support popups
I was wondering if Flare had some kind of setting that put used popups at the end of the pdf, so that they readable.

Sadly, no, not that I know of. But if you insert footnotes, they'll appear as popups in your online output and footnotes (or you could look at endnotes?) in your PDF. :)
