My former life as tech writer caught up to me and I am now asked to edit a rather large PDF (~800 pages) that I do not have any project files for. Pulling into most recent version of Word turns it into a totally garbled mess. I used AbleWord before for smaller PDFs, but with a phat file like this one it is too much to handle for AbleWord. All I need to do is edit text and push a few images around. I tried pulling it into Flare, but that didn't turn out as expected.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a free / not too pricey tool to edit PDFs of size?

Turns out that Libreoffice Draw is working quite nicely for what I need to do.
