I have a requirement to produce a table of contents page that contains a table of contents for multiple guides in a project - each of these guides have their own TOC:
For example, the resulting TOC topic should look like:
Table of Contents
Install Guide
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Developer Guide
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
I've set up a project-level FLTOC file where each link is a link to the relevant guide-level FLTOC.
I've additionally set up a topic which contains a MadCap:tocProxy.
The generated HTML5 from this project shows the sidebar with the guides at the top level and the chapters at the next level as expected.
However the generated table of contents topic looks like:
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
I realise the reason why is that:
* The tocProxy derives its content and structure from the heading styles and not any FLTOC file
* All my chapter headings are Heading 1s
* There's no top-level heading styles corresponding to the guide names.
I'm not sure there is any way around this unfortunately but if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
