/ character is displayed in the header for PDF outputs

Postby Susan_HC on Wed Oct 28, 2020 6:18 am

Hi All,

I've been starting to convert some content into MadCap Flare and I'm using the PDF outputs. However, I've noticed in the header for all pages except for page 1, there's a "/" character in the header. On the first page, the header displays the chapter title/the title of the next article in the hierarchy. However, on subsequent pages, only "/next article title" is displayed. Any ideas why this is occurring?

Thanks!

You will want to look at the page layout: probably your body page layout has a header element with the offending text.

Thanks for the quick response! You were correct. It was in the page layout file.

Thanks again!
