Word wrapping issue in tables

Post by jconnors »

Hi there!

The words in my tables seem to be wrapping to the next line as in the attachment. The hyphenation in my table is set to Never. It is also set to Autofit to Window but it also looks the same when I autofit to Contents.

My tables look really bad in the PDF.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, Flare's doing its best, given what it has to work with. If you take the longest word in each of the columns, you need to be able to fit "Foreign","ApplicationName","NVARCHAR(128)","Mandatory","Dynamic","Description","Version" (without the quotes or commas) in a single line, and there just isn't enough space, so you're just going to have to make some adjustments..

There are a few things I could suggest, and you might not like them or they might not be practical.
1. Make the table wider.
2. Make the font smaller, in both heading and body.
3. Transpose the table so the heading items are in column 1 and the content is in column 2, effectively turning it from a 6 x 2 table to a 2 x 6 table.

Hope that helps a bit.
