For my printed output, I won't use the auto-generated TOC.
I have therefore created a topic page and named it printTOC.
This page consists of a header and Madcap output toc proxy:
When I build my print output, the font in my table of content page is too large:
In my stylesheet I have made the following adjustments:
toc proxy (e.g. tweaking the font size, line height, mc-heading-level):
I've added a Selector to H1 as follows:[/color]
Can you please help me reduce the font size on my TOC page

Re: font size - cannot reduce on manual TOC page
You need to adjust the font sizes of p.TOC1 through p.TOCx... (however many levels you're using). Setting the font size on the tocProxy won't get you the result you seek. The tocProxy is the overall container, while the p.TOC1 etc. are the entries.

Re: font size - cannot reduce on manual TOC page
The entries in the table of contents are adjusted using the p.TOC1 - p.TOCx styles. p.TOC1 is equivalent to H1, p.TOC2 is equivalent to H2, and so on. You can adjust them in the stylesheet editor.
- Double-click on your style sheet
Select "advanced view"
Go to "p" (paragraph styles)
Go to "TOC1"
Adjust the font size
Repeat for any other levels

Nita and Shredder - brilliant advice thank you.
Now you've helped me fix the font size on the TOC by adjusting the p.TOC1 in my Stylesheet, my front page looks good as follows:
