paragraph styles altered in Frame output

Post by tana »

Hi, I cross-posted this to the Styles forum as well...

Please help if you can! In my stylesheet I have modified the p. style to indent .75 inches (Block, vertical-align).

The output to Frame looks fine when I first open it, it's what I want, but I noticed that in Frame, the paragraph stlye drop-down shows the style as *p, which means in Frame-speak that it is "not quite a p, but almost." When I select the p in the drop-down list box, the text jumps back to the left, losing the indent I specified in the .css. Argh!

Every style (excluding H1 and MiniToc1) has this asterisk... how do I get the oputput to have the "real", non-asterisked paragraph style?

Any help would be so appreciated. I am under a deadline to determine whether or not single-sourcing can work for us, and I have slain some dragons already (thanks to may of you all), but this one has me so far.

Thanks!
