I am generating WebHelp and PDF from the same source.
In the PDF, any hyperlinks that go from one point to another within the same topic work fine as hyperlinks within the PDF, but any hyperlinks that go to another topic file are being treated as a url, and the result is that the entire PDF target opens again in my FireFox browser. I don't know how to make the hyperlink go to the named place within the original PDF.
I hope this makes sense.
I would greatly appreciate any help figuring this out.

hyperlinks to topics not working as expected in PDF output
Re: hyperlinks to topics not working as expected in PDF output
Did you create the hyperlink with a target of "New Window" specified?

I did not.Did you create the hyperlink with a target of "New Window" specified?
But what I've found out is that if I enter a bookmark of "top" for the hyperlink, then the hyperlink works OK.
And I might not have thought of the bookmark part if you hadn't directed me to look for the Target field.
So thanks once again, Lisa.
I ALWAYS appreciate your quick and helpful responses to my postings.
