Footnote steps on screencap (which runs off page)

I have attached a screen capture of what this looks like in my PDF output.

I haven't seen anything like this, and would appreciate the benefit of anyone's knowledge here.

Not only does the footnote print right across the image, the screen capture image itself disappears off the bottom of the page.

This looks totally bizarre. Help!

Lo and behold, I actually managed to fix this glitch all by my lonesome. If anyone wants to know how I did it, reply here and I will do my best to answer.
