Hi. I want to find any instances of a specific Style in my project.
I know I can find a word or phrase using "Find in Files" but is it possible to do the same for a Style?
I've tried searching various parts of the Help - but it keeps rejecting my query as all the words in "Find in File" are too common!!
(I am a writer not a coder, so if you reply in non-techy speak I'd be very grateful! )
Thanks, Helen
Can I use "Find in Files" to locate a specific Style?

If by style you mean a class, then yes, you can find all instances of it. In the Find window, specify to find on class="classname" (e.g., class="note"). Make sure "Find in source code" is enabled (bottom of pane) and that you're searching in topics.

Hi Lisa - fantastic, thanks so much.
I didn't realise at first that a "Style" was also a "class" (I needed to find text in a particular colour which was a defined style) - but I've had a look in the text editor and got the info I need, and just successfully done the search - brilliant!
Many thanks for your time.
