Automatically open a tab in a topic

Hi there!
My company has implemented tabs in topics. I was wondering if there is anyway to create a link so the second tab, instead of the first, automatically opens when you click that link. It looks like bookmarks don't work and I was hoping not to change any of the js or css too heavily. Is there a simple way to link a page so it doesn't open on the default tab?
