Used Flare about a year ago so I feel new again.
Partner of mine was typing along and (somehow) when going back to correct errors ended up in overtype or over type mode. I recall having that happen to me in the past. What are we doing that causes the over type mode and how do we get out of it? He ended up closing out Flare and starting again.
Thanx for your input!

Re: Over Type
Did you accidentally press the Insert key on your keyboard?

Re: Over Type
I'm not sure what my partner did but I just experimented with it and sure enough the over type mode kicked in. That was it. Thanx for your help!

Re: Over Type
That's not a Flare-related issue, BTW. It'll happen in a lot of Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office.

Warning! Loose nut behind the keyboard.

Re: Over Type
Exactly - the Ins button on the keyboard toggles between insert and over-write mode in pretty much all applications.
Until next time....
