Copy/move/delete of multiple topics
Easy one: Is it possible to copy/move/delete more than one topic at the same time while still getting the option to update the links.

Above the Content Explorer turn on the Show Files icon (I think it's 3rd from left). This will open a second pane to the content explorer. You can move files around in that second pane, shift select, etc. the same as you would in Windows.
Until next time....

But are links still updated - I seem to remember I tried this out and they were not.

I seem to recall someone else mentioning that they had problems when they tried to move a LOT of topics at the same time. I think whoever it was said that Flare crashed or locked up or something. So you might want to only move a couple dozen topics at a time, just to be on the safe side, especially if there are a lot of links that Flare will have to update.

Re: Copy/move/delete of multiple topics
In my experience, if you move a lot of files and tell it to update links, Flare will freeze on you, but when you kill it and relaunch it everything will have moved and relinked correctly so it isn't a show stopper (should still get fixed - right, Madcap? - but at least you can get your work done).
Until next time....

...make a backup first...
Although looking at the date I might have added this too late.

Fantastic, I cannot thank all of you enough! I finally began with Flare this week after proposing the purchase since Beta v1 - so many conversions, so little time... and so many details I want clean and organized, like the project files(!)

That was me -- I had to reorganize my folder structures, and I discovered that if I tried to move more than 25-50 or so topics at once (I was trying lots of 300-400), Flare would crash. The copy/paste and link update would work probably 99% of the time (first compile revealed a bunch of broken links that weren't there before I started). So it's generally merely annoying. Since I had to move a few thousand topics, it drove me crazy.LTinker68 wrote:I seem to recall someone else mentioning that they had problems when they tried to move a LOT of topics at the same time. Submitted the bug to MadCap, with a copy of my project (I don't believe MadCap was able to repro, but I can't remember).
