Dock Project Organizer & Content Explorer

Post by MC Hammer »

Morning!
A bit of a silly quesiton today....
I have been playing with Flare 4 to assess it (currently working on Flare 3.1) and I cannot find how to dock both the Project Organizer and the Content Explorer to the left pane (50%-50%). I did not notice that the AutoSave Window Layout option was ticked by default so now that I have tried various things, I get both panes appearing as tabs (like topics) and I would like them to appear at the same time on the left pane so I can easily drag and drop topics from the Content Explorer to the TOCs within the Project Organizer. I am trying to make the Drag Pane Area icon visible but have not managed to do so.
Heeeeeeeeeeeelp and thanks in advance.

So if you right-click the tab, select Floating, then drag window to the left, do the drag arrow icons appear?

If it doesn't work, I'd just try Window > Layouts > Reset Window Layout.

Hi Dave
Thank you, your first suggestion did the trick (must have been about the only thing I had not tried  )
