SharePoint Publishing Issue

Post by stephencoxy »

Hi,

I'm using Flare 11 and windows 8 and am having an issue publishing to sharepoint. If I check upload log file for my destination and then publish it works. If upload log file is unchecked I get the following error:

Publish failed: value cannot be null

Has anyone here had a similar issue? I've logged this one with madcap support but so far having no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Stephen

Yes, please. I'd really like to know why the "Upload Log File" must be checked in order to Publish HTML5 to Sharepoint Foundation. Please advise.

Selecting Upload Log File solved the problem for us for publishing HTML 5 to SharePoint 2013.
Can't yet publish to SharePoint Online.

Just jumping in in 2020 to say the problem still exists when publishing a PDF to Sharepoint Online. Any tips?
