Searching on topic title
Searching on topic title
Hi, Is it possible to search for a topic in Flare using the title of the topic, rather than its name. I assume so, but cannot see how to do it. Thanks for any advice.

Re: Searching on topic title
If you literally mean search for the string that is inside the <title> tag of the topic, then yes, use Find and Replace to search in source code for <title>Your topic's title.
If you mean to search for the text of the first heading a topic, you can also use Find and Replace to search -- either in source code or not -- for that string of characters. But you might get several hits, such as to an xref pointing to that topic.

If you mean the title tag, then you can also use View > File List, and sort it by the Title column.

Thanks both. I meant searching for the string that is inside the <title> tag of the topic. So you have answered my question. Much appreciated.
