Hi everyone
I'm trying to find a way to force PDFs links to open in Adobe Reader. There are a limited number of users, who are all internal to our company. They have Adobe Reader by default, so there are no issues with the Adobe Reader not being available. Setting the file extension to use Adobe Reader by default hasn't worked. The primary target output is HTML.
I need to be able to control this, rather than ask IT to make changes to the way they configure laptops. I was hoping there was something I could add to a specific x-ref style.
I'd be grateful for any help with this one.
Thanks
Suze

This might not be the answer you're looking for but as far as I know you can't force it to open in Adobe Reader on the Flare end. That's an end user/machine preference and would likely have to be selected on their machines. Sorry.

Hi Wyatt.
I've been investigating this further and am inclined to agree with you. Thanks for the reply. At least I know I've tried, and that I've not missed anything obvious .
