Hello all,

In the past, I had no difficulties downloading the entire set of Flare v9 documentation but I cannot find a way to grab all the v10 documents located at http://docs.madcapsoftware.com/FlareV10.

Thus far, I have only been able to grab the following documents: FlareGettingStartedGuide.pdf and FlareWhatsNewGuide.pdf but only because there are direct links to them. What else is lurking under the URL: docs.madcapsoftware.com/FlareV10?

I am hoping to grab all the documents to place on my tablet for offline reading. I expect that there should be about 40 PDFs here.

Is this of any help? This is the path that Flare takes you to when you try to get to PDF files through the Flare help.

file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/MadCap%20Software/MadCap%20Flare%20V10/Flare.app/Resources/Flare.mchelpf/Content/PDF_Guides/PDF_Guides.htm#

You should be able to download all the assorted docs from there.

Oh wait... I get what you are saying. There is an HTML file locating in the Flare install folder. Looking at this now. Thank you.

That is awesome Rob. Perhaps you should pin this because I am sure others will be interested in downloading all the docs.

I echo Nita's comment. We need a "like" button.

In Flare 7, they used to be here C:\Program Files (x86)\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V7\Flare.app\Resources\Guides as part of the installation.

Then two things happened. They disappeared from the installation, and the number of guides increased. So not only did we have to download each one individually, but there were too many to download unless you really had too much time on your hands. I'd downloaded 12 of the current 41 Flare 10 manuals because life is too short. Now I have the lot in a format that I can take to bed with me and I'm insanely happy.

We will look at ways of making it easier to download each file or all files with the next release.

We have now added a new download link to the PDF Guides topic in Flare's online help that includes all the PDF files in a single download link.

Or you could not break up the user guide into a whole bunch of separate PDF documents.

Chuck, perhaps you'd prefer to view the Flare Help system outside of the Flare UI and in lieu of the many PDFs. You can find it here: http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... efault.htm
