All,
Do you list the browsers supported by your software? I didn't used to, because of the myriad versions of Flash-browser combinations, but now I may have to consider doing it. Well the director of engineering is pushing for it.
If you do, where do you publish this information? As a link in the Help? As a link on your product webpage or your Help portal? Or...?
Thanks in advance.
Listing supported browsers?
Re: Listing supported browsers?
Hello KLAstry -
Yes, I do list supported browsers. However, in my case there is no need to complicate matters by listing flash-browser or any other "combinations".
I have a topic titled "Technical Requirements". Within that topic, the browser (and other) requirements are listed as a sub-set of the supported operating system environment. For example:
Desktop/Laptop Computer (PC)
Browser:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.0 or higher (128-bit Encryption support required)
Google Chrome Version 36.0 or higher
Macintosh (Mac)
Browser:
Safari 7.1.7 or higher
iPad
Browser:
Safari or Chrome
Chromebook / Chromebox
Browser:
Chrome
