I've downloaded Flare 2017R3, and it still has the same bug I notified MadCap about in the last version: the ebook output compresses the mime definition - which is outside of ebook standard and which will generate errors when edited in Oxygen XML. I hope this will be fixed in some subsequent release. The problem was identified and communicated to MadCap a year ago.
