Using a grammer checker with Flare

Post by yonatanlehman »

I use "Grammarly" when I write anything (including this post...), but unfortunately, it does not work with Flare. Does anyone have an automated way to do good quality proofreading? At the moment the best I can do is to copy paste the web output to the Grammarly desktop app.
Thanks

Does Grammarly also do spellchecking?

Isn't that an oxymoron?

I have the same question but seen the age of the original question and the lack of answers I fear there is none :?

Yes, it would be nice if MadCap Flare would join forces with Grammarly to come up with a smooth intergration. For now, I survive by copy/pasting between outlook and the topics, I'm working on. I'd love to go for Grammarly premium but not at this stage and without an integration of some sorts.

I am in the same situation. I would love it if Flare integrated with Grammarly or ProWritingAid.

Indeed fully agree, a most useful addition.

Just a quick reminder, this is a peer to peer support platform.

Occasionally folk from Madcap drop-in, but if you want to add a feature request it's best to do it via Madcap's help and support pages...

As per Steve's suggestion, I just added a feature request.

I also posted the same question on the Flare Slack channel.
