Multiple Flare projects

Post by henkjans »

Hello,
maybe I described my problem wrong in previous posts, but does anybody here has to handle multiple Flare projects?
And I mean, equal projects but different languages.
How do you manage them?
Do you use some kind of program, method or ... to keep track?
Curious for ideas
Thanks,

Hello Henk Jan. Personally, I have little clue about using Flare (presumably you are using 2017 version) to manage content for multiple languages. However, from what I understand, Flare does support authoring and output for left-to-right and right-to-left languages. The documentation about language support is here: http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... =languages It may be worthwhile for you to read through the documentation.

As to your question how to manage all of the languages, from what I've read from MadCap, they offer a product called "Lingo", specifically for the purpose of translation. I have no familiarity with Lingo, but mention this to you because perhaps if you post your question(s) on the Lingo forum you may receive additional clarity or ideas.

Best of luck.

Hello roboHAL,
I was a while off line, so I saw your post this day.
I had contact with Madcap USA and they advise me to try things out in Lingo.
but thx. for your reply.
