Target Missing Content

I have created a new project using one of the project templates of "Top Navigation and PDF Basics2".

I added my own topic to it, but now I cannot see it in any target output.

I assume it would be in it, but I cannot see it anywhere.

What do I need to do to include in any targets? e.g. HTML, PDF, Micorosoft HTML Help/CHM, etc?

Please elaborate.

(I have only done the Getting Started Tutorial - Flare 2017 r3.)

Is it linked so that you can find it?

Is it in a TOC.

Check the setting of Project Prop > Advanced > Exclude content not linked directly or indirectly from the target. If the topic isn't linked and the setting is checked, the topic won't get pulled in.

No, sorry, not sure what you mean by 'linked'.

Sorry, you mean a topic needs to have links manually made to a TOC, Index, Glossary, etc to be place inside a target like PDF file?

A topic on its own is not able to be found?

Once you have created a topic it needs to be added to a TOC used by a target to produce output. This is not the TOC in the project to show content but a TOC from the project explorer.
