GPL imports and conditional tags on folders

Post by magval »

Hi,

I'm testing Global project imports and my Main Project has a lot of conditional tags on folders :
folder tagged A contains the Product A specific pictures ; folder tagged B contains pictures for Product B. I include both pictures in the topics, and have the Targets exclude the complete folders.
Anyway, when I use the import from that Main Project into another Project, the conditional tags on topics are imported but all the conditional tags on the folders do not get imported. So I get 2 pictures of different products in my Output.

Is that an issue with my import or is that a known problem ? or a feature ?

Thanks for your help.

The condition on your folder is contained in a *.props file (you can see these in Windows Explorer, but not Flare).

The project import is buggy when it comes to *.props files. It'll import *.props files for images, but not most other *.props files, including those used for folders.

Report it as a bug (I have), and it may get fixed one day.

Thanks Dave,

Yes, I saw that my other props files were imported, and wondered why not the folder ones.

I'll file a bug and copy my folder.props by hand in the mean time.
