I see a similar discussion, but it's not really specific to my issue, so I'm hoping that someone can help. I'm new to a company & am using Flare2018. The other tech writer, who created the project, is using Flare2017 r2. Our project files are stored in bitbucket. Edits/revisions/updates are done ONLY in Flare.
When I try to open a topic file, I get the prompt, "The file xxxxxx.htm is not an XML file. Do you want to start the ""Convert To XML Wizard?". The other tech writer does NOT get this prompt. As a test, he emailed a topic file to me; I saved it in my local version of the project, and then tried to open...again, I got the "Convert..." prompt. We have no idea why this issue seems unique to my machine. Is there a setting that I might have unwittingly activated/deactivated? Could this (although I doubt it) be a version-difference issue? Any help would be very much appreciated.
