Connecting to TFS proxy server

Ever since upgrading to Flare 2018, the performance of the product has been extremely slow; for example, each time we add a file, there's a long delay before we can begin typing. When we delete a file or close the project, we get a long delay with a black screen and a "Not responding" message. The same behavior occurs during other tasks. It was recommended we change our TFS server connection from a remote connection to the main office to a local proxy server, which we did from Visual Studio without issue; however, we couldn’t change the proxy server from the Flare side. On the Source Control tab of Project Properties, we tried replacing the remote server with the proxy server but received an error. Does anyone have a suggestion?
