Converting JIVE content using Flare for HTML+PDF output

Post by c-ibaker »

We are seeking to learn any and all best practice/methods to do the following:

> What is the best way to convert a very large repository of *Jive* enterprise social networking content into Flare to then successfully output to PDF and HTML5 channels?
(Initial importing of Jive content leaves extensive Jive-specific code in the imported content. Flare can not successfully build any output (PDF or HTML) and returns numerous errors.)

> How can we import Jive content into Flare so that we do not have extensive, unnecessary Jive-specific code in the imported file? We have a very large repository of Jive files, so we are seeking a solution that does not require a lot of manual clean up of code in Jive or Flare. Please advise!

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

With you being new here, I'm guessing (hoping) that you're also new customers of Flare. If that is the case, you might be able to get some specific help from Tech Support, as they are usually very responsive to new customers. While you're waiting for the awesome forum members to reply you might want to contact your Madcap salesperson to ask if they can help, just in case you don't get anything from the forum. Good luck.
